Dwayne Mace, Mid-West Regional Technician and Trainer for Lamar Advertising, began his outdoor career over 43 years ago as a billposter in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Since then, he has served in a range of roles, from construction foreman to sign painter, to charting manager, to operations manager. As the Regional Technician and Trainer, Mr. Mace trains prospective technician candidates, develops training for Lamar’s digital program, manages new digital installations, digital recycling, and performs audits on market digital inventory and procedures for 20 plants. In 2018 he was featured in the Wall Street Journal for his work as a trainer. When he is not working with billboards, Dwayne enjoys playing his guitar and spending time with his wife of thirty-seven years and their daughter.
